Birthday Parties at Flesh & Buns

During your special day, we know you don’t want to cook, and you definitely don’t want to wash up after! That’s why a visit to one of our beautiful venues is the best of both worlds. Allowing for both the intimate experience of staying at home, and the luxury of dining out, you can sit back and relax, knowing everything is taken care of.

We have beautiful private and semi-private spaces that can accommodate groups of between 10 to 40 people, so whether it’s just the closest friends or a family affair, we have the space to suit you.

Our Spaces at Oxford Circus

Our Oxford Circus restaurant offers a relaxed yet glamorous atmosphere, with large windows and an airy feel. We have a few dining options to suit the size and needs of your party:

  • Our large private dining room can fit between 20 and 40 people, spread across the two sunken tables which is the perfect setting for a celebration.
  • We also have a space for a more intimate evening, fitting between 10 and 20 people. Draw the curtains across our beautiful private dining room and enjoy an evening of delicious Japanese food and cocktails.
  • For something a little different, why not sit at our chef’s table which accommodates between 10 and 20 people, with a view of our Robata grill so you can see your food being prepared!

Our spaces at Covent Garden

The Covent Garden restaurant sits next to the Seven Dials Market and is a relaxing underground eatery with a cool, relaxed vibe. Entertain 15 to 24 people in our semi-private area. Take over a corner of our underground Izakaya and indulge your friends or colleagues with our Japanese fare!

What is Japanese Omakase?

At Flesh & Buns, our omakase dining menus are carefully curated to showcase dishes from across the menu and ensure every guest in a group has eaten to their heart’s content. Small dishes come out as they’re ready, followed by our Flesh & Buns platters, full of delicious, fluffy Hirata buns (similar to bao buns) ready to be stuffed full of our amazing fillings and pickles. With a fixed price per person, there is none of the usual budgeting stress – sit back, dine and enjoy paying without working out who ate what, and let us take care of everything.

Why not make a day of it?

If you’re making a day of it for your celebration in London, excellent news! There is plenty to do in the locations around both of our venues.

Things to do in Covent Garden

A visit to Covent Garden Market is a perfect way to soak up the vibrant atmosphere before dining at Flesh & Buns. The historic market, with its cobbled piazza and stunning 19th-century architecture, offers a mix of luxury shops, quirky boutiques and artisan stalls.

If you’re in the mood for art and culture, Somerset House is a must-visit before your reservation at Flesh & Buns. This stunning building hosts world-class exhibitions, outdoor concerts and even an ice rink during the winter months. Wander through the contemporary art galleries or take in the beautiful architecture of the courtyard, which is especially lovely in the summer with its fountain displays.

Things to do in Oxford Circus

Before indulging at Flesh & Buns, why not take advantage of being in one of the world’s top shopping destinations? Oxford Street is home to a mix of high-end fashion, flagship stores and iconic brands.

If you’re after a bit of friendly competition and fun before your meal, Swingers Crazy Golf in the West End is the perfect pre-dinner activity. Located just a short walk from Flesh & Buns, Swingers combines a 1920s-inspired golf course with a lively atmosphere, making it ideal for groups.

For those looking to add a touch of tranquillity to their day, a stroll through the famous Regent’s Park is a perfect way to wind down and enjoy some green space in the heart of London.

After dinner entertainment

If you’re looking for something to do after your meal, our Covent Garden restaurant is within walking distance of lots of brilliant theatres, including the Noël Coward Theatre Royal Ballet and Opera, the Adelphi Theatre, the Vaudeville Theatre, the Fortune Theatre, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Wyndham’s Theatre, the Seven Dials Playhouse and the Donmar Warehouse.

Flesh & Buns Oxford Circus is also a great pre-theatre spot – with the London Palladium, Dominion Theatre, Palace Theatre and Sondheim Theatre all nearby. There are also some great music and comedy spots nearby if you’re looking for a great night out. We recommend the iconic 100 Club on Oxford Street!
